About
Parley lets people who speak different languages talk and chat as if they shared one. Write in your language and everyone reads in theirs: translation runs on your phone, so your messages stay private. Join public or private encrypted rooms online, or switch to Mesh mode and talk to nearby phones with no internet at all. Sign in with your Solana wallet or simply continue as a guest.
What's New
• Emoji reactions: tap a message to put an emoji under it (40 to choose from); a long press opens the menu • Private rooms: messages that vanish by a timer (10 seconds to 10 minutes) • Joining and creating a private room is much faster • Friends: add a friend with a QR code or a signed link and call them into a room; the list shows who is already inside • Words under voice messages in your language, translated; a purple button reads the translation aloud (works offline). Speech recognition runs on your phone • Voice effects are as loud as your own voice • Tourist mode: hold a button and speak, the phone says it in the other language • Safer: friend links cannot be changed on the way, spam is stopped, wrong room passwords lock out the guesser • No location permission: Mesh works with the Nearby devices permission of Android 13+
