Loch is a shielded balance for the Solana wallet you already use. No new seed phrase and no new account: your wallet app signs one message, and the keys of your shielded balance are worked out from that signature on your phone. The same wallet sees the same shielded balance in the Loch browser extension. Your wallet is public. The Loch is not. v0.2, on mainnet. Read the cautions before you dive in: https://lochlayer.com/#cautions HOW IT WORKS Dive in. Move SOL, USDC or another token from your public wallet into the Loch. A screening service co-signs each deposit. An observer sees your address, the amount, and that it went into the Loch. Send privately. Pay any shielded address. The proof is made on your phone and a relayer submits it, so your wallet never appears. An observer sees a proof: no sender, no recipient, no amount, no token. Swap. Trade one token for another inside the Loch, through Jupiter, into a new shielded note. The amounts of a swap are public; who made it is not. Earn. Hold JitoSOL, Jito's staked SOL, inside the Loch, and swap back whenever you like. Surface. Withdraw to any public address, on Solana or on another chain. Nothing on chain says which deposit paid for it. SEE WHAT YOUR WALLET GIVES AWAY The leak report reads your wallet's public history and scores it: where its funds came from, the services and people it deals with, the hours it is active. WHAT LOCH DOES NOT DO - No telemetry, no analytics, no advertising. - It talks only to the RPC endpoint, relayer and screening service named in its settings, and to Relay (relay.link) only when you move funds to or from another chain. - Your keys never leave your phone. Your notes and activity are kept there, encrypted, and are not backed up. - Your wallet app is asked through Solana's Mobile Wallet Adapter. Loch holds no funds and no keys. Diving in and surfacing are ordinary public transactions. Only what happens between them is shielded, and a pool hides you only among the people using it.
